Lakshmi Machine Works Limited, a leading Textile Machinery Manufacturer in India and one among the three in the world to produce the entire range of Spinning Machinery. In 1962, LMW was founded to provide Indian textile mills with the latest Spinning Technology. It caters to the domestic market as well as exports products to the Asian and Oceanic regions.

LMW diversified into CNC Machine Tools and is a brand leader in manufacturing customised products. LMW Foundry makes Precision Castings for industries world over. LMW has added the Advanced Technology Centre to manufacture components for the Aerospace Industry.

Sales Issues

LMW had disparate sales processes and lacked clarity on opportunity progress and sales stages. The management did not have any tools to forecast sales and monitor pipeline metrics.

Oracle Sales Cloud

LMW unified all sales processes under one umbrella. With flexibility to allocate territory on demand, forecast sales and tools to manage pipelines, LMW’s management was able to have a single unified view of the health of the company and was able to take appropriate action as necesssary.

Oracle Service Cloud

LMW was able to manage their entire workforce with Oracle’s service cloud offering. Further, entire details of an asset, alongwith warranty information armed the service engineers to make informed service calls. Cost per service request is now effectively monitored and mechanisms to lower operational expenditure could not be taken.

CPQ

Complex quoting processes that involved multiple excel sheets was simplified using Oracle’s CPQ. With the right tools that automatically determine which component goes where, sales team is now able to quote much faster without frequent changes to quotes.

One of the largest CPQ implementations in Asia Pacific for Oracle was for LMW and was completed successfully by Spectrum7 in record time. Portal Design

Spare parts sales can now be ordered online. With a new portal that integrates with Oracle’s CX suite, Spectrum7 was able to deliver LMW’s customers with a state of the art web site that automatically knows the customer’s inventory and helpfully suggests spare parts.
